How to run, Executive Board:

All Executive Board positions are open to officially matriculated students in good academic standing. Please submit a onedrive link to your video recording of a 3-minute speech to Graduate_Student_Senate@med.wayne.edu. In your speech, please explain what position you are running for, why you are running for that position, your qualifications, and what you would like to accomplish in the year if you are elected. All submitted speeches and an anonymous electronic ballot will be sent to all graduate students for voting. The voting period will close after 48 hours.

To keep the election fair, NO CAMPAIGNING IS ALLOWED, as some students may have access to more resources than others.

We had a successful, inaugural 2023 election! Please check in late 2024 for details/dates on the next executive board election cycle.

How to run, Departmental Representative(s):

By midnight on Friday, December 1, 2023, students interested in representing the students in their department/program should submit a Onedrive link to your video recording of a 3-minute speech to the Executive Senate (Graduate_Student_Senate@med.wayne.edu). In your speech, please explain why you are running for reprensentative of your department/program, your qualifications, and what you would like to accomplish in the year if you are elected. Executive Senate will then distribute speeches and anonymous electronic ballots, by department, for students to vote for their Representative. Elections will occur from Monday, December 4, to Wednesday, December 4. Candidates for Department Representatives must be officially matriculated students in good academic standing.
